Those who visited the grave of Sheikh Ayaz included Secretary Sindhi Adabi Sanggat Taj Joyo, renowned intellectual Ibrahim Joyo, Sindhi Language Authority Chairman Abdul Qadir Junejo, poet Nisar Hussaini of Qaleech Beg Sanggat, former vice chancellor and leader of Bazm Rooh Rihan Hameed Sindhi, Sindhi Adabi Board Secretary Inam Sheikh, Sindhiology Director Shaukat Shoro, and Amar Sindhu of Auratazad.
Others who came from Sukkur, Khairpur, Nawabshah and Larkana included Adal Soomro, Ayaz Gul, Anwer Kandhro, Ajiz Mangi, Riazat Burero, Ayub Khoso, Asif Mithianwi, Noor Chakrani, Mir Mohammed Pirzada, Wasim Soomro and others.
Noted Sindhi vocalists Sadiq Faqir, Shafi Mohammed and others also laid floral wreaths on Mazar of Shah Latif Bhitai and Sheikh Ayaz.
A Sheikh Ayaz conference was held at Hyderabad at Sindhi Language Authority Hall, which was chaired by Ibrahim Joyo and addressed by noted Sindhi intellectuals, writers, poets and others.
The conference was organised jointly by Sheikh Ayaz Foundation, Qaleech Sanggat, Auratazad and Sindhi Language Authority.
The speakers paid rich tributes to Sheikh Ayaz for his services to Sindhi literature, especially poetry.
